Lodge Host & Guide
Chris is a seasoned angler with over 20 years of professional guide experience. His lifelong passion for fishing has taken him to some of the most beautiful waters throughout the U.S. and beyond. He is well suited to adapt his guide approach to best suit your needs.
As your lodge host, he looks forward to welcoming you and ensuring you have an exceptional experience.

Jeff Bacon
Jeff first cast a fly to Montana trout back in 1975 on the Big Hole river in Montana and has been casting to various species of fish throughout the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean over the last 45 years. Jeff lives in Grand Rapids with his wife and two sons.

Sean McDonald
I have been a fly fishing guide in the rivers in the area for 28 years. I try and make any day on the water a fun and enjoyable learning experience, if the fish are biting or not.

Ross Swanson
Ross has been an avid fisherman since he was a youngster. When he was in high school, he found fly fishing and discovered the Muskegon River. He has an easygoing personality and guiding style and enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge of the waters of West Michigan.

Born and raised in West Michigan, I have spent the last 10 years guiding the Pere Marquette and Muskegon rivers. I look forward to being your guide!

Griffen Brandt
Griffen is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where he received a degree in Parks & Recreation. Since before he could drive, Griff has spent nearly all of his free time chasing the resident and migratory species that Michigan has to offer.

Gabe Nyblad
Captain Gabe Nyblad grew up in West MI and has been guiding the surrounding waters seasonally for 17 years. He has hosted destination fly-fishing trips around the world, spent 7 summers guiding in AK and now resides in Little Torch Key Florida where he spends most of the year flying fishing the flats and managing his multi boat operation Tail Chasin’ Charters. He has an enthusiastic, patient, and high-energy guiding style and will go the extra mile for his anglers.

Aaron Spence has been guiding for over 20 years on some of Michigan's finest rivers. The Jordan, Manistee, Pere Marquette, Muskegon, and the Grand River.I look forward to having you out on the water for a great day of fishing.
Our Activities
During your time, you will partake in fly fishing, tying flies, and casting practice both on and off the water. Our guests can also explore
the 10-acre property, wade fish, relax in the main lodge or recreation room, sit on the riverside deck, or enjoy our always-burning camp fire.
